• When it comes to summer makeup, the heat and humidity can make it challenging to keep your makeup in place. Here are some summer makeup hacks to help your makeup stay on in the heat
• Start with a clean and moisturized face: Cleanse your face thoroughly and apply a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer. This creates a smooth canvas for your makeup and helps prevent excess oil production.   My favorite age fighting skin care is Volu Firm – but you may like the 3D Timewise 
• Opt for lightweight and long-wearing foundations!  Choose lightweight, oil-free foundations, tinted moisturizers, or CC creams for a more breathable and comfortable feel. Look for long-wearing formulas that are specifically designed to withstand heat and humidity.   Some of my favs are Mary Kay CC Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15
• Set your makeup with powder: After applying your foundation or concealer, set it with a light dusting of translucent powder. This helps absorb excess oil and prevents your makeup from sliding off.    You might want to try this Translucent Powder 
• Use waterproof products: Switch to waterproof or water-resistant versions of your mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadows. These products are less likely to smudge or melt off in the heat.   Here is a  great waterproof Mascara 
• Avoid heavy cream products: Cream blushes, bronzers, and highlighters can become greasy and streaky in hot weather. Opt for powder-based cheek colors and highlighters.  
• Go for matte or long-lasting lip products: Choose matte lipsticks or long-lasting lip stains that are less likely to smear or fade. Avoid glossy or creamy formulas that may melt in the heat.   My favorite summer Matte Color is Always Apricot
• Carry beauty blotters.   Keep a pack of beauty blotters with you to absorb excess oil and sweat throughout the day. Beauty blotters help to freshen up your makeup without adding extra layers.
• Set your makeup with a Makeup Finishing Spray: Finish your makeup by misting a finishing spray all over your face.  Finishing sprays help lock in your makeup and provide a matte or dewy finish while keeping it intact for longer.
• Avoid touching your face: Touching your face frequently can transfer oils and cause your makeup to break down faster. Try to resist the temptation to touch your face throughout the day.
• Remember, staying hydrated and taking breaks in cool areas can also help minimize sweating and keep your makeup looking fresh.
